Certificate IV in Electro Magnetic Balancing

Certificate IV in Electro Magnetic Balancing Technique (The EMF Balancing Technique®) has now been approved by the VRQA and I am currently negotiating with an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) to make it available first in Victoria and then progressively in other states with the assistance of the EMF Balancing Teachers in these states.

Why is there a need for this qualification?

  • Industry credibility: A Certificate IV aligns EMF Balancing Technique® with a standard of education within Australia that is already established and recognised. This opens the way for further employment opportunities for EMF Accredited Practitioners as the qualification is recognised by organisations such as clinics, medical establishments, aged care facilities, hospices and other health services.
  • Standard of care: the level of training in the Certificate IV needs to meet current Australian standards and is, therefore, greater than is currently required for EMF Balancing Accredited Practitioners. For example, the Certificate IV includes 'common units' such as: 'Make referrals to other health care practitioners', 'Contribute to Occupational Health and Safety processes' (see list below), that contextualise the practice of EMF Balancing within Australia.

    Also, the total number of hours for the EMF component of the Certificate IV (230 hours) is greater than the hours required for Accredited Practitioner. However, the existing EMF Balancing accreditation process is folded into the Certificate so that potentially, students with Accredited Practitioner status can upgrade to the Certificate IV with RPL (recognition of prior learning).

  • Greater recognition of EMF Balancing and EMF Balancing Practitioners and Teachers in Australia: as new graduates are employed as Practitioners in different organisations, the benefits of EMF Balancing and energy work will become better known and recognised, as has happened with other complementary modalities for which recognised qualifications have been developed.

At this point I do not have a cost for the qualification or a definite starting date. The cost would be on a par with other modalities offering Certficate IV in the health sector.

Graduates will be equipped with:

  • The skills to practice the EMF Balancing Technique®, an effective, contemporary, energy-based approach to health and wellbeing, Phases I-IV;
  • Employability skills recognised by Australian employers, relating to communication, teamwork, problem solving, initiative and enterprise, planning and organising, self-management, learning and technology.
